Let’s get that garden growing! We have lots of new plant varieties in stock this week, from Apple mint, Borage, and Calendula to Zinnia! (
The basil is almost there, just another week or so!Edit: we will have some basil after all … things are really growing fast this time of year!!!) Come out and see us at the Pittsboro Farmer’s Market from 3-6pm this Thursday 4/24 and the Wake Forest Farmer Market on Saturday from a whole 6 hours during the famous Forest Fest: 8am-2pm!
Deerhoof Gardens is a small mushroom and herb garden farm in Pittsboro, NC. Our mission is to nurture life in all its forms, and share it with our community.
Deerhoof Gardens sells live herbs and gourmet mushrooms (and occasionally other produce such as figs, soil sprouts and fresh eggs) at several farmers markets in the Triangle area:
- Saturdays: Chatham Mills Farmer’s Market
- Occasional Saturdays: Wake Forest Farmer’s Market
- Thursdays: Pittsboro Farmers Market
- Occasional Thursdays: Siler City Growers & Makers Market
